Woodstock festival founders Michael Lang and Joel Rosenman kick off the 2 Minutes of Peace & Music series with their memories of what inspired the original event.

Legacy Podcasts celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock with 2 Minutes of Peace & Music – a 20 part series of short features with the inside story of the original 1969 Woodstock music festival.  Throughout the series, we’ll clips of music recorded live at Woodstock mixed with first hand accounts by many of the performers (Carlos Santana, Graham Nash, Paul Kantner, members of Sly & the Family Stone and many more) and people who worked behind the scenes.

2 MINUTES OF PEACE & MUSIC is a new 20-part podcast series produced by Joyride Media that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original Woodstock festival.  Each 2:00 piece will feature clips of live Woodstock performances, interviews with festival performers and comments by the people who worked behind the scenes.  Legacy Podcasts will present new episodes all throughout July and August 2009, leading up to the 40th anniversary weekend (Aug 15-17).  More information on featured guests and the launch schedule will be posted here soon.   More on this historic 40th anniversary is online at the new woodstock.com.
